Thanks so much to my parents and DH’s parents… we just got our nursery furniture!!! I thought I’d never be able to pick something out, but when DH and I saw this one, we knew it was the one. It’s simple! I didn’t want the drawers underneath or the drop side or the attached changing table… a classic baby crib! Plus it coverts later on. It was out of stock so we ordered it and it’s supposed to arrive in 1 – 2 weeks. It’s the Bergamo Americana Lifestyle collection from Babies R Us in “coffee” color:
It converts to a toddler bed:
And a full-sized bed (with the purchase of a rail kit, which we also bought today):
We also got the 3-drawer dresser/changing table combo, seen in this picture on the right. The contoured changing pad sits on top:
Yay! I’m so excited to have found and ordered our furniture. Now we just have to figure out where the nursery is going to be.. hmmm.…

That’s a very thoughtful gift. It can be used for a looooong time. Dark brown goes with a lot of décor options, as well.
