*WINNER: random. org # 40, CONGRATS to Belinda!!* Winner has been emailed and has 48 hours to respond. Thanks again to Solana Swaddle Wraps for sponsoring this giveaway!
Welcome to Solana Swaddle Wraps! These 100% cotton, lightweight swaddling blankets soothe and calm your baby and prevent overheating with their breathable fabric. These adorable wraps were created by 2 long-time friends (and moms!) as a way to comfort their babies with the swaddling technique while living in the heat of Arizona. Live somewhere with cooler temps? The wraps are great for layering or using over clothes too!
What do I love about the Solana Swaddle Wraps?
First of all, they’re adorable! Plus, they are large to fit any size baby, lightweight for comfort, protect against SIDS, and can be used year-round. You know what else they’re great for? Bugscreens or sunshades over car seats or strollers! They also dry quickly and would work great during bath time.
The Original Swaddle Wrap was the first to be developed and has a gauzy texture that stretches nicely. It has a kind of crêpe look and feel to it that I love! It comes in green, blue, yellow, pink or white with a satin ribbon trim and is a roomy 45“x45”

The Signature Swaddle Wrap is 100% cotton muslin, oh-so-soft and sweet! It comes in an eyelet print with pink, blue or white satin trim or a polka dot print. (I received the eyelet wrap with blue trim–most adorable blanket ever!) These are also 45“x45”
I was also sent a fabric sample of their Stretch Organic Wrap–the fabric is 100% organic cotton and gives a little stretch for the perfect swaddle for your baby! These blankets are white and come with different adorable trim patterns (the “Baby Tree” is shown below).
Solana has more patterns and styles (boy, girl or neutral), starter packs, and even nursery art, burp cloths and washcloths! Be sure to check our their whole shop!

You can buy any of these (and more) at their online shop or select retailers.
Use our special discount code “babydickey” for 15% off your entire order (good through the end of this year!)
Or.. WIN HERE! One lucky reader will win their choice of a SIGNATURE WRAP. That means the polka dot print or the eyelet print.

I also LOVE the organic Roth green trim!!! Soooo cute!!

The original in yellow or green, please.
I would also be careful with the claim “protect against SIDS” because SIDS is still not completely understood by science. Fresh airflow is thought to lessen the chances of suffocating from uncirculated CO2 and is not necessarily promoted by a muslin cloth. That is why fans for circulation are recommended. The muslin cloth does help with not elevating the body temp which is thought to be a key to the puzzle. Just saying as a caution by a sibling who lost her baby brother to SIDS and has followed SIDS research all my life as a result.
