BabbaCo: car seat cover review

babbaco covers

I’d like to introduce you to BabbaCo by Jessica Kim! “Simple. Functional. Super Cute.” < — exactly!! BabbaCo is a fairly new company — one of our favorite kinds: mom-created and mom-run — based in Chicago, IL. I’m sure you’ve heard about their adorable and extremely useful car seat covers, the BabbaCover.

The BabbaCover comes in 3 different styles for every type of weather: snuggle fleece, everyday flannel, and airy cotton. Need a holiday gift? The snuggle fleece is sure to keep baby warm in this winter snow! We were recently sent the BeepBeep Snuggle Fleece in green:

I feel so much more comfortable being able to leave the hospital once this lil boy arrives with this cozy cover on his car seat. That winter wind can be brutal in Illinois! Blankets can fall off, let wind blow through, don’t allow you to see your baby, and can give you a loose grip on the car seat handle. The BabbaCover fits ALL standard car seats with a snug fit and the following awesome features:

*elastic opening for a sure grip on the car seat handlebabbacover airy cotton
*window flaps in the front AND back — you button it up for air circulation and to see your baby or close the flap down
*side cargo pockets on both sides (one of my fave features!) throw in your keys, diapers, pacifier — whatever! for easy access
*loose sides for air circulation, with a snug fit in front and back

This Snuggle Fleece style is the warmest option and is water and wind resistant. The Everyday Flannel is like putting on a light jacket or sweatshirt for year-round protection (also water and wind resistant) and the Airy Cotton is like putting on a light cotton shirt — perfect for sunny summer days! It even has a layer of SPF and UV protection and the sides are made of mosquito netting.

BabbaCo also carries BabbaBurpies: reversible terry cloth allowing you to simply turn it inside out when you need a new one! and BabbaThreads: 100% organic cotton that’s super soft and not bulky!

About Jessica: She is a mom, wife and entrepreneur and designs her products with real parenthood in mind. We love her! She’s a sweetheart and you can find her interacting on twitter @babbaco or on facebook.

You can find BabbaCo products at these stores or order online from their site. The Snuggle Fleece BabbaCover that I received is just $65 (marked down from $89)!
