Chocolate Angel Nutritional Milkshake giveaway

**CLOSED**
**WINNER: random.org #14, congrats Becca! Winner has been emailed and has 48 hours to respond before a new winner is chosen. Thanks to all who entered and thanks again to Maternitique!**

Maternitique’s mission is to help women look their best, feel their best and do their best throughout pregnancy, birth and motherhood.” They make sure all their products are free of toxins and provide only the best for you! AND they ship their products using recycled, reused and biodegradable packaging materials – very cool. They have lots of awesome things to help you feel great before, during and after pregnancy.

I was recently sent some Chocolate Decadence Angel Milk Shake mix – YUMM!! It comes in strawberry too, but I’m a chocolate lover so I couldn’t pass it up. It’s a nutritional shake for all your needs during pregnancy or breastfeeding. What a great way to cure those chocolate shake cravings during pregnancy! The box comes with 12 servings and each serving is only 100 c alories and 0 grams of fat. Plus:

  • 6 g of soy protein
  • Vitamins A, B, C, D, E, K, magnesium, and all 8 essential amino acids
  • 30% daily value of iron
  • 41% daily value of calcium
  • 20% daily value of folic acid
  • No artificial flavors, colors or preservatives

And no worries, it’s safe to drink these with your prenatal vitamins.

I was skeptical about these because… I’m a PICKY chocolate lover. It’s gotta be the good stuff. And a nutritional chocolate shake that tastes good?! No way. To make this, you empty the powder mix in with a glass of milk and mix it with a blender or in a shaker. I used a shaker and.… IT WAS DELICIOUS. Something about knowing you’re drinking a shake and that it’s actually good for you too makes it that much better. But seriously, it tasted good. I’m trying to ration out the rest so I don’t run out too quickly ;)

WANT YOUR OWN?! WIN HERE! Valued at $30.

NEW AIRPORT SECURITY SERVICE KICKS IN.(News)

The Cincinnati Post (Cincinnati, OH) January 26, 2007 | Duke, Kerry Byline: Kerry Duke Post staff reporter Jeff Oliver likes the idea of breezing through airport security courtesy of a membership service like Clear Registered Traveler, although the Cleveland businessman would want to see the service offered at more of the airports he frequents before shelling out the $99.95 annual fee for it. go to website delta frequent flyer

Gary Catapano of Mount Adams isn’t sold yet of the service yet, either, reasoning that he already gets to move to the head of the line because of his frequent flyer status with Delta Air Lines.

Clear, operated by the New York-based Verified Identity Pass, opened its special designated security lane at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport on Thursday fully aware of those kinds of initial mixed reviews. But company officials are confident that with its embedded biometric identification cards now being issued and its high-tech check-in kiosk now open, those who fly the skies frequently– business travelers in particular — will take notice.

Steven Brill, chief executive of Verified Identity Pass, told reporters at Thursday’s opening of the Clear lane in Terminal 3 that already more than 1,000 persons locally have enrolled in the service, which he termed very good.

What typically happens is this is an abstraction until the lane is actually open and you see people moving,” said Brill. “The enrollment starts to happen very quickly once a certain number of people have cards and you can see them moving through.” Brill didn’t offer a target number for enrollment at the airport here but did say that once more than 25,000 to 30,000 members join, “we’ll be doing pretty well” and noted that that company will do even better if satisfied customers renew their memberships.

He acknowledged that the appeal of the service will increase as more Registered Traveler lanes — both those operated by his company and by competitors — open up across the country, because the cards can be used anywhere the Transportation Security Administration has authorized a Registered Traveler program. Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky is the fifth U.S. airport in the country to introduce Clear lanes, which promise waits to get through security check-in of no more than five minutes.

Oliver, a sales manager for a pharmaceutical company who travels two or three days every week, said he’ll be ready to join once the service is offered at more of the airports where he flies.

I would definitely enroll in that,” Oliver said while waiting for a flight. “Most business travelers who travel frequently would like something like that.” Catapano, who travels almost every week for his company, First Group America, wasn’t nearly as enthusiastic. He said Clear’s services aren’t too different from the privileges he has earned as a Delta frequent flyer, which allow him to use a priority line through security. website delta frequent flyer

It sounds like you still have to go through taking your computer out and your shoes off,” Catapano said.

I don’t see where it would really save anything. I don’t think it would, in my case, make any difference.” If Clear’s service eliminated the requirement for passengers to remove their jackets and pull laptops out of their bags for inspection, then Catapano said he would be interested.

Brill said emerging technology that his company plans to employ could make those features not too far away.

All of this is part of a larger plan and a bigger deal we are making with our customers and that is in return for that subscription fee and in return for joining Clear, we will keep trying to buy better and better equipment at our lane,” he said.

Duke, Kerry
