Bravado Nursing Bra giveaway!

**CLOSED**
**WINNER: random.org #50, congrats Alanna!! Winner has been emailed and has 48 hours to respond. Thanks all and thanks again to Bravado!**

Bravado Designs: bras fit for breastfeeding! Created and owned by 2 moms and worn by women everywhere, including celebs like Angelina Jolie, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Garner and Jessica Alba! They have it all – maternity and nursing tanks, bras, undies and accessories (breast pads, breastfeeding DVD).

I didn’t really prepare for breastfeeding before Ryan was born even though I knew I was planning on exclusively breastfeeding. I just has no idea what I’d need and in what size. I started with a nursing tank from Target. It got the job done my first few weeks at home, but at some point I was going to have to enter the real world again and wanted a bit more support, ya know? Bravado was kind enough to send me their new Allure Underwire Nursing Bra.

It’s lightly lined and the fabric is light and breathable – so I stay cool and dry. Mainly I love that it looks just like a normal bra. It even has (non-scratchy) lace on the band! I have another nursing bra, but it looks more like a sports bra and is visible under some of my shirts… so having this one is great! The cups fully drop away with a snap, using B-clips that lie flat under your clothes. I have no negative things to say about it – it’s wonderful! Easy to use during breastfeeding or pumping, I can snap it with one hand and it looks great.

As for sizing, I wasn’t sure what to get and was never “professionally” measured. During pregnancy, I think I went up 1 – 2 band sizes and 1 cup size (I never really measured). For the nursing bra, you want to wait until your breastfeeding is established to get the correct size. I measured myself and found that my band size was back to normal (34) and I was up about 1 cup size from pre-pregnancy (D). Based on their chart seen below, I ordered the 34 D/E and it fits perfectly! The three dimensional stretch in the cups allows for your changing shape, too. They have a whole page to help you figure out your size based on where you are in your pregnancy or breastfeeding stage and pictures to help you measure correctly.

This new Allure Underwire Nursing Bra sells for $54 and you can buy it here. Or WIN here! One lucky reader will win the same Allure Bra featured here in their choice of color (black or ivory) and size.
