Kiki’s Fashions Maternity

Ok, I was told about this site called Kiki’s Fashions Maternity and I had to share it because… it’s cheap! When I was pregnant, it was so annoying to find cute maternity clothes that were affordable. Like preggos don’t have enough things they need to spend tons of money on for the new baby, right?!

Anyway, with prices about 75% lower than maternity boutiques, this place has maternity clothes that you can afford (even jeans!) and most of them are pretty cute, I think. Also, they have a section for clothes under $10 (whoohoo!) and a section called “transitional” for that awkward stage of pregnancy–awesome idea! Other shops should take note.

*Yes, this is a paid post, but I wouldn’t write about it if I didn’t actually like it or think you guys would like it! All opinions are my own.*

OMG Emily you just answered my prayers!! Even though I have clothes from when I was pregnant with Cade, I was a student and didn’t have a “dresscode” and I’ve realized I have very little to wear to work!! I can’t wait to go through the site! YAY!!

  • Cute shirt, but that model is scary!! She looks Photoshopped. It is sad Kiki’s chose that picture to advertise with. Women are already bombarded with starved, waif-like models on t.v. and magazines. It’s a shame it has reached maternity wear also. That picture isn’t a good representation of a pregnant woman-AT ALL.
Pregnancy is supposed to be a time when a woman can enjoy her curves and feel beautiful, and not compare themselves to a fake ass model.
While I think it’s great to have affordable and fashionable maternity clothes, I bet the majority of women wearing those clothes do not look like that. Go ahead prego’s and eat that chocolate!

  • hahaha, I love it, Cindy! You’re totally right.. but… it’s not a real model, it’s a plastic mannequin! LOL. Still, I agree they should use one that looks more realistic 😉

I was just wondering, do you plan to keep your blog posts more focused on reviews & product give-aways rather than about you/your baby? I really enjoyed your blog before, and I understood you were going to do a month’s worth of products, but it just seems to be continuing on. All the power to you if you do plan to keep doing this, but I’m afraid I’m going to take you out of my reader if you do. I guess it doesn’t help that I’m not in the States, so these posts mean even less to me. I don’t mean this in a mean way, I would just hate to unsubscribe and then have you return to more non-commerical posting and not know about it.

  • Ohh Ruby I’m so glad to hear you say that! I was worried people would be getting used to these giveaways and not want to hear about baby anymore 🙂 I can’t WAIT for these reviews/giveaways to be over. I had way more sponsors contact me than I thought I’d have and I’ve been slow getting through them–life with a newborn! I really can’t wait to get back to writing about family/baby/etc. and am so happy to hear that’s what you prefer to read too! So don’t unsubscribe! 🙂 Sadly, I probably have like 10 more products to go through, but I’m really hoping to sit down one day here and post a ton of them all at once!
    Thanks for your comment 🙂

Ohhh I’m so glad! I figured it was something like that – and I can imagine that life with a new born makes it even more overwhelming (plus being back at work – I must say I am glad to live in the Netherlands where all working women get at least 16 weeks off at full pay!). Keep up the good work, good luck getting through the reviews and I’ll definitely look forward to reading more about your family, life, adventures, thoughts, etc.
