Funky Monkey Threads giveaway

**CLOSED**
**WINNER: random.org #10. Congrats 80skaty! Winner has been emailed and has 48 hours to respond before a new winner is chosen. Thanks to all who entered and thanks again to Funky Monkey Threads!**

Funky Monkey Threads has adorable outfits, it was nearly impossible for me to pick just one! She makes custom onesies too, just let her know what you want! Some are even personalized with your lil one’s name to make it extra special. Here’s a little about the shop from their website:

Funky Monkey Designs offers top quality baby onesies, toddler & kids tees with funny, clever designs, or can be personalized. These designs will get tons of attention and be the hit of any baby shower or birthday party!

Her shop says they use the softest, highest quality onesies you can find (100% European interlock cotton), that they stay true after repeated washings, and they’re double stitched for extra durability. I was sent the St Pattys Lucky Shamrock Personalized Onesie and I can’t wait to put Ryan in it for St. Patty’s Day!!! He is my good luck charm AND he’s Irish ;)

How cute is that?! And I can vouch for the shirt quality… it’s the first thing I noticed when I opened the package. It’s very soft and very heavy/quality fabric. Like I said, it was really hard to pick which shirt I wanted to review and I ended up with this one because I thought Ryan needed to celebrate the holiday! But here are some others I LOVE and was considering…

Adorable, right?! If I could afford it, I’d seriously buy all 4 of those. It’s too bad he grows out of clothes so quickly! Well… lucky for all of you, someone is going to win a Funky Monkey shirt!!

One reader will WIN their choice of short-sleeved shirt!! For everyone else, take advantage of this discount code for 15% off your order (before shipping): babydickey - code expires in one month, March 22nd.

SIGIS Gears Up to Alter Qualified Items List in Response to Health Care Reform.

Health & Beauty Close-Up April 22, 2010 The health care reform legislation signed into law by the President last month impacts over the counter (OTC) purchases with Health Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Reimbursement Arrangements and Health Savings Accounts beginning in January of 2011, the group reported.

OTC drugs medicines and biologicals remain eligible with a directive from a provider. SIGIS will be updating the Eligible products criteria to reflect movement of these items from the “Eligible” to “Dual Purpose” category. Note: Because these items now require a doctor’s directive, these items can no longer be auto-substantiated with an IIAS. in our site cold sore remedies

According to the group, the customer or participant may still be able to receive reimbursement for the item using their Health FSA, HRA or HSA; however they must obtain a letter of medical necessity from their provider in order to be able to submit it as eligible under their plan.

This has significant implications for SIGIS as an organization.

–Over-the-counter medicines, drugs and biological treatments are about 35 percent of the current SIGIS list. Effective January 1st, 2011, the affected items would be deleted from the list of eligible items. It is important to note that not all items on the SIGIS eligible items list would be affected. Only those items that represent drugs, medicines and biologicals require a provider’s directive. As described by the group, the items affected include items in the following categories: web site cold sore remedies

–Acid Controllers –Allergy & Sinus –Antibiotic Products –Anti-Diarrheals –Anti-Gas –Anti-Itch & Insect Bite –Antiparasitic Treatments –Baby Rash Ointments/Creams –Cold Sore Remedies –Cough, Cold & Flu –Digestive Aids –Feminine Anti-Fungal/Anti-Itch –Hemorrhoidal Preps –Laxatives –Motion Sickness –Pain Relief –Respiratory Treatments –Sleep Aids & Sedatives –Stomach Remedies The group noted that the change will also impact 90 percent merchants, in that the calculation for who meets the 90 percent exception would be based on the new definition of eligible expenses, which will exclude products in the above categories because they are only eligible to the extent the provider directs their use.

The List Review and Management Committees will be establishing a detailed project plan and timeline for the implementation of these changes and will communicate with SIGIS members in the coming months.
