**WINNER: random.org #92, congrats Francine! Winner has been emailed and has 48 hours to respond before a new winner is chosen. Thanks to all who entered and thanks again to BabyBabyOhBaby!**

When we took our childbirth class at the hospital, we learned they offered an infant massage class, too. But… it was like $50 and we thought that was too much. I was disappointed because I thought it sounded so fun! I know I love massages, who doesn’t?! I bet baby would too! Well.… then I found BabyBabyOhBaby! This is an infant massage DVD for $26 AND you’ll always have it on hand to reference.

The first time I tried it with Ryan, I thought — there is NO way Ryan is going to sit through this whole thing! It’s 45 minutes long. I was right, haha. But he made it pretty far!! Way better than I thought he’d do. There were times when he started to get fussy, but it really seemed that the massage worked to calm him down. They do “still touch” and he loved that!

They are sure to stress the fact that babies will be babies and there may be some touches your baby doesn’t like or takes some time to get used to. Just find what works for you and take it slow. Ryan has trouble with the face massage section, but he’s getting better! Also, the DVD says it’s typical to not get through all of it at once, or in order. Take parts at a time, whatever your baby can handle, and have fun. It’s an awesome bonding, quiet time for you and your lil one. I know Ryan is loving the massage by his coos and giggles and I’m enjoying it too because he’s so cute and happy :)

You can see a preview of the DVD on their site HERE.

You have to read the story behind this DVD because it’s so touching (ha, no pun intended)! This DVD was made by a man who has no kids. (What?!) Yep. Read here about how this DVD was inspired! It’s sweet, really.

So the DVD is divided into chapters for each body part: still touch, connecting strokes, legs & feet, stomach, chest, arms & hands, face, back, and stretches. They show you how to do the massage technique on a doll and then show you real life parents and babies doing it. Once you get the hang of it, there’s a menu option to just play the video with background music, no talking – to set the scene for you and your baby!

Want to WIN? One lucky reader will get their own copy of this Infant Massage DVD!

Looking for lemons for Harvest Festival The Piedmont Harvest Festival committee is looking for lemons for the annual event’s popular homemade lemonade.

This year’s festival will be 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Sept. 25 at Piedmont Community Park.
