PumpEase: because women like pretty things, even when they’re pumping! How true is that? PumpEase makes hands-free pumping bras and I love them because…. they’re pretty! You get to choose from different colors and patterns. It makes you feel hot!

As an exclusively breastfeeding mama, pumping is part of my everyday life, especially because I work outside of the home. Ryan takes 2-3 bottles while I’m gone so I pump once at work and once at night after Ryan goes to bed. It’s boring and it takes time… and my time is precious. I’ve tried holding the pump in place with my arm while using one hand to do something else, but it’s uncomfortable, inefficient and if that milk spills… I’ll cry. Seriously.

I didn’t own a hands-free pumping bra until recently and wish I had bought one right away. Mainly, I can pump while I blog 🙂 But I can also play with Ryan, cook, text, whatever!

About PumpEase: created by Wendy who is a mother of 2, spent 3 years on research and development and has had over 400 pumping sessions herself–she knows what we need! What’s incredible about Wendy and PumpEase is that they donate extras to a local hospital for moms with babies in the NICU and they donate $2 of every sale to the Best of Babes Foundation!

Why I love them:

  • They are super soft and stretchy (88% polyester, 12% spandex)
  • My pump fits in the openings perfectly and easily (it fits ALL makes and sizes)
  • The band closes with your typical bra clasps with 3 size options
  • Fits great–comes in 2 band widths and 6 sizes and fits over nursing bras or tanks
  • They’re CUTE!
  • They’re CUTE! Yes, I had to say it again because… I know you’ve seen hands-free pumping bras and they look like some sort of torture device. Right?! They look scary! Not something you’d ever want your husband to see, haha. But I actually feel cute and maybe a little sexy in this one. Hey, if you leave the pump off and just wear the bra… now that may be something your husband will like too, haha! 😉

They have two style categories:

I got the BelAir Blue from the 50s collection… love it! I was also sent a door-hanger that says “Please Do Not Disturb, Mom At Work” (what a great idea) and a fridge magnet that gives storage guidelines (great for my husband)! I also have to show you this other product for sale on their site… I just saw it and think it’s wonderful–a “Nursing Mother Goddess” necklace:

How sweet is that? It’s $25 and comes in ivory, turquoise, ebony and terra cotta.
