…you walk around the house singing Raffi songs, even when your baby is asleep (“I’m gonna shake, shake, shake my sillies out, shake, shake, shake my sillies out, shake, shake, shake my sillies out and wiggle my waggles away. And wiggle my waggles away!”)
…you opt out of wearing perfume for your new (more natural) scent… spoiled milk.
…burps and farts are exciting and even CUTE. (shh, don’t tell my husband).
…your morning routine has been cut from an hour to about 15 minutes.
…you think it’s cute when you get peed on because it makes the lil person in your life smile.
…you’re picking someone’s nose. And it’s not your own.
…spit-up is the new outfit accessory and you often show it off outside of the house.
…you have 20 minutes of free time and you’re able to get done what used to take you 2 hours to do.
…a 10-minute nap is pure heaven and feels more like 2 hours.
…the slightest baby whimper wakes you up, but you sleep right through a level 4 earthquake.
…you get caught speaking in your “motherese” voice at work.
…you’re willing to stand in one spot for 20 minutes, taking 100 pictures, hoping to get ONE good one. But you can’t delete any because they’re ALL good ones.
…you stop spending your money on clothes, movies, dinners, etc. and instead you’re buying crazy tummy time torture devices, baby clothes they’ll only wear once, more rattles and blankies than you know what to do with, and every baby sleeping aid ever invented.
…you sleep with poop and/or pee on your bed sheets because you either 1.) got too tired to change them or 2.) your Momnesia kicked in and you totally forgot about it.
…you go to your ipod’s “most played” list looking for some good music, but it’s filled with lullabies and Raffi.
…you don’t care about your belly pouch for the first time because… you earned that thing and it was WELL worth it.
…your heart explodes with love like you’ve never felt before and you wouldn’t change a second of your life for anything. (remind me I said that when Ryan wakes up crying at 3am, k?
)
((Have any of your own to add??? I’d love to hear them!))

Awesome! Ryan looks sooo adorable in the Bumbo! Sometimes I think of the free time I had before becoming a mommy and I think to myself “Holy cow, I was lazy” LOL

I loved this! I am so guilty of the “taking 100’s of pictures hoping to get 1 good one and never deleting any” lol.

when you make up ridiculous songs to sing.
when you streamline the bottle making procedure and calculate how many bottles you need for a ____ hour outing.
when you have a baby gadget in each room of the house.
when you scream bloody murder when someone puts a bottle in the microwave
when you forget to eat.
