Keurig Brewing System: Mother's Day Gift Idea

As a mom, I have near zero time for myself and I can only imagine it gets “worse” as Ryan gets older. I’m a working mom too and I run out the door every morning, usually without breakfast. Making a pot of coffee?? FORGET IT! And the exhaustion that comes along with being a mom… a cup of coffee would be amazing.

Introducing.… the Keurig Special Edition Brewing System. It’s a mid-luxury single-cup brewer. It takes MINUTES. It’s nearly instant. I can turn it on, go dry my hair or get dressed, and by the time I’m back (4 minutes), it’s heated and ready to go. One perfect little cup to go. No grinding, no filters, and no adding water (the reservoir can hold enough for 8 cups).

I was also sent some boxes of K-Cups, which are the containers of coffee, tea and hot cocoa you use with the Keurig brewer. Yumm. What I love is that there are SO MANY different types and flavors to choose from. I could try something new every week (they sell cheap sample packs)!

I got flavored coffee from Green Mountain (caramel vanilla crème, french vanilla, hazelnut dark roast, and wild mountain blueberry), tea varieties by Celestial Seasonings (green tea, english breakfast tea, lemon zinger herbal tea, and sleeptime herbal tea), and white hot cocoa by Timothys.

So far I’ve tried the wild mountain blueberry coffee (it seriously tastes like blueberries – but not overwhelmingly – and my kitchen smelled like blueberries all morning– YUM!) and the white hot cocoa, which I love drinking at night. I seriously love how quick the brewer is and how it makes one cup just for me. We use to waste so much coffee, making a full pot and drinking only a quarter of it.
