In honor of Mother’s Day coming up, I wanted to share these videos with you. Everyone has heard of the Planet Earth videos, right?! They’re incredible. Well, the makers of Planet Earth have created a video called LIFE.
At this site, you can watch 4 exclusive clips from LIFE of a mothers incredible dedication to her young. “Narrated by Oprah Winfrey, these clips lovingly illustrate the mothering techniques of four very different species that have one thing in common — the unbreakable bond between a mother and her child.” LIFE just aired on the Discovery Channel and is available on DVD June 1st! I’m posting one of them here… it’s my favorite of the 4 because I think it’s funny that the “grandma” has to step in to show how the job is done, haha! Love it! But the other ones are cute too – the frog one is pretty amazing.
