I loved watching everyone’s! I really, really want to join you guys but that’s going to require a shower, blowdry, brow wax, makeup and clothing. Maybe later tonight I’ll prettify myself and do it, LOL!

Haha, right?! You should still do it! Do you say Day-tuh for data? Like I did? Everyone else says dah-tuh!

You sound normal to me! You’ll fit right in here in Seattle 🙂

this is so much fun!! I am waiting on youtube to process my video so I can post it on my blog! I am from Kansas so you should stop by and see what I sound like LOL!
When you said “both” it was obviously a chicago type accent. Sorry LOL!
And you call it Pop? How funny! Thank you for putting this up, I had so much fun and I loved listening to others!
[Reply]
Love it! I definitely hear the Chicago accent in there! And pop is a dead giveaway you’re from the Midwest!
I think the answer to the question for the bug that rolls up into a ball is rolly-polly or potato bug depending on where you live.
[Reply]
You do have an accent! I can hear it clearly. 🙂 The bug is a roly poly and the rain while the sun is shining is a sun shower. At least, that’s what I call them. Isn’t it funny that we can think we don’t have an accent, but other think we do?
Here is my vlog if you’d like to check it out: http://www.akblessingsabound.com/2011/03/dialect-vlog-from-alaska.html

A sun shower…I totally didn’t know that one.
I decided to do one too here it is: http://www.ourordinarylife.com/2011/03/how-do-you-say-that-in-oregon-vlog/
I linked to yours too!

Hahaha…You DO have an accent! It makes me miss North-Eastern Ohio, where I grew up! I say everything the same way you do, but maybe with a little less of an accent, since I moved to VA when I was 12. So my non-accent is just that…I don’t sound like I’m “from” anywhere! Oh, and those bugs are potato bugs! I remember those! You don’t see em here in VA, or maybe I just don’t look for them cause I am almost 30 and don’t play with bugs anymore!

Cute! My would be so standard so I’m going to do one but thank you for sharing!
