I don’t have terrible morning sickness–meaning, I haven’t ever thrown up–but I do get sick to my stomach, don’t want to eat a thing even though I’m hungry, curl up in a ball and WISH I was throwing up. Sometimes I try drinking sprite or ginger ale and that helps a little, but I recently found the BEST REMEDY EVER. (no, this post is in NO way sponsored, haha)
First, start with some Morning Wellness Tea from Earth Mama Angel Baby. Fill a cup with water and steam it–I just put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes. Throw in the tea bag and then get your RAISINS!
Yea, I said raisins. Is that normal to add to your tea?! I’ve never heard of it before, but I am NOT a tea drinker. My husband threw them into my cup and I was all, “what are you doing?!?! gross!” but it wasn’t gross at all.
THEN… as I said, I’m not usually a tea drinker. It’s just not appealing to me. But I was determined to make this work. Not that the tea + raisins was bad… I actually enjoyed it (especially because my stomach was feeling better), but then……….. I added this:
Mmmm hmmm. Vanilla Caramel coffee creamer. YUM. Just a bit though!! Too much and it’ll be too sweet and gross. I add no more than a tablespoon, I’d guess.
Now I have to get up and go make some, yummm. Will you try it?! Does it sound/look good?! IT IS. And it really does put my stomach at ease. Did you have any creative morning sickness remedies?

I never managed to find a remedy for my last pregnancy but one of my friends swears by lemonheads candies. I would have certainly been willing to try this. It looks yummy!!

That sounds interesting. All I know is when you find something that works for you, stick with it. I got acupuncture while I as preggo and that helped me some.

My accupuncurist had me eat Congee every morning. At first I did- and never felt sick so I thought I just didn’t have morning sickness so I stopped- I went right back to eating Congee every morning.
Congee-
1 cup of Millet
6 cups of water
Bring to boil and simmer for an hour stirring occassionally.
It ends up like a thick oatmeal. I flavored with butter, dried cranraisins, sugar. Anything you like on your oatmeal. Just 1/4 cup every day kept the morning sickness away.

looks weird and interesting but hey, if it works who cares???

That sounds WAY yummier than what finally helped me: a bowl of beans. Really. I couldn’t stomach eggs, and I needed protein to stave off the never ending nausea (meat just didn’t appeal either). But, this sounds like something I would drink on a normal day!

Right here is the perfect blog for anybody who wishes to find out about this topic. You understand so much its almost tough to argue with you (not that I actually will need to…HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a topic that’s been discussed for many years. Excellent stuff, just great!
