Ryan loves Thomas, Mommy loves Cookie’s Kids

Who doesn’t love Thomas?! Ya know… Thomas the Tank Engine. First, it started with a love for “choo-choos.” At our new house, there are tracks nearby and once in awhile we hear the trains blow their whistles as they pass through… Ryan’s eyes get all big and he yells “CHOO CHOO!”

Then, he learned the choo-choo had a name. And that the choo-choo had his own show on TV. We get up in the morning and Ryan yells, “THOMAS!”

I’ve never been a fan of licensed characters and buying that stuff for Ryan. But how can you deny such love?! Haha. I love seeing Ryan’s excitement–and hey, if having Thomas pajamas helps us through the night time routine (so that Ryan actually puts on his pjs), I’m all for it.

I did some online shopping recently at Cookie’s Kids. I’d never shopped there before, but have seen their name all over as my friends shopped there. They have a great selection and at seriously awesome prices. (There’s a link at the end of this post to get a free $10 to spend at Cookie’s Kids!)

Ryan’s pretty set on winter clothes, I think, but he could use more pajamas. I’ll be honest… some days we just live in our pjs! And I love when he’s all cozy, especially in those footie one-pieces.

Perfect! I got these for him in size 2T. And just as I expected, when they arrived he yelled THOMAS! and started taking off his clothes so he could put these on, haha. They’re not as thick as some of his other pjs, but they are super soft. Cookie’s Kids had lots of cute pajamas and robes to pick from… some of my other considerations:

I love wearing slippers and Ryan loves to be just like his mommy 😉 so I checked out their slipper selection, too. Thomas slippers!!! They had actual slippers that I almost bought, but then I saw the Thomas clogs. Multi-functional–love. I figured they could be used as slippers around the house or easily slipped on for a quick trip out of the house, too.

Ryan adores these shoes. They’re a little small… Cookie’s Kids only had them left in size 5/6 and Ryan currently wears a size 6… I knew ordering them was risky, but they were so cute I just had to. They’re fine around the house with bare feet, but they don’t stay on so well with socks on. Regardless, Ryan loves wearing them all.the.time.

And, not as exciting, I picked up some socks for Ryan (those things always disappear!) and a crib sheet for the baby girl. It’s flannel–perfect for the cold of February when she’ll be born 🙂

Want $10 to spend at Cookie’s Kids?! They have a refer-a-friend program and if you go register using my link, your account will be credited with $10! Have fun shopping! 🙂

I had a 20% off coupon and I can’t believe I got all this stuff for $30. They were super fast, too–I got an email the day after I ordered saying that it had shipped and with some of their shipping options, you can still order in time for Christmas!
