Rebecca’s new hang out!

It’s funny how you go through each phase of a child’s life just waiting for the next one. I can’t wait till Rebecca can sit up on her own. My sister-in-law, who has a sitting 8 month old, says she can’t wait for her baby girl to crawl and then walk. That’s how it goes, right?

And since Rebecca can’t sit yet, we love chairs she can relax in… even better? a chair she can sleep in, too. The worst is having your baby fall asleep someplace unintentional and feeling the need to more her someplace that’s safer. Murphy’s Law will obviously kick in and your peaceful sleepy eyed baby will be asleep no more!

We recently received the 3-in-1 Rocker Napper from Tiny Love. It’s Rebecca’s new hang out! You can enter to win one at the end of this post.

It has 3 seat positions and the sides of the seat automatically adjust up and down… they’re highest when the seat is flat to keep baby enclosed and safe and they’re lowest when the seat is at the most upright position.

Rebecca really doesn’t enjoy being flat so I don’t use that position often–only if she has already fallen asleep and I gently recline her. Most of the time we use the middle, relaxed position. She loves to watch the lights on the mobile as it plays music, but I think her favorite is the vibration! It always calms and quiets her.

The seat rocks back and forth, but also has adjustable “feet” so you can steady the seat if you want and it won’t move.

My favorites: The mobile arm and head are adjustable… so, for example, you can move the arm away from your baby so it’s at more of a distance and then tilt the mobile head toward your baby’s face so they can still see it. That’s usually how we keep it. I like the protective sides that move with the seat and the soft cushion.

Things to note: the cushion stays in place with velcro, but if you use the upright position a lot, it kind of slides down–but not much. It’s worth the cushion being removable for cleaning! Also, the mobile arm makes a loud clicking noise when you adjust it. I learned that after Rebecca fell asleep and I wanted to move the arm out of the way… the loud clicking woke her up!

Overall, it’s great and we use it all the time. Rebecca plays in it and she sleeps in it, it’s cute and lightweight, and it holds up to 40 pounds!! Yes, my 2.5 year old toddler has been in it, lol. We even use it for friends when they come over to play 😉

The suggested retail price for this Rocker Napper is $99.99, but you can find it on Amazon for about $75. It’s also at Buy Buy Baby and select retailers. Be sure to enter my other Tiny Love giveaway, too! It’s for a Gymini Move ‘n Play!
