HGG: Ridemakerz Xtreme Customz car kits {giveaway}

car kits for kids

Build Your Ride! My toddler loves cars, trucks, and anything that moves. He also loves putting things together or taking them apart… and Spiderman and Batman and all those guys. So what if I told you I found something that puts ALL of those together?! Introducing… Ridemakerz Xtreme Customz car kits for kids!

These customizable vehicles can your child’s own creation! They start with a car body and “mix n’ match” parts… pieces from different kits can be used on all the same size car bodies. A great toy to collect!

The photo above shows one of the Starter Kits. This car is about the size of a cell phone (or 1:48 to scale). There are different versions of the Starter car including the hero series: Batman and Spider-Man and–coming soon–a black Spider-Man car and an Iron Man car! And there’s the authentic kits that includes cars like a viper, patrol car, corvette, etc.

They also have Swap Kits that have TWO of that same size (1:48) car. These are $19.99.

You can have a team (the two SWAT team vehicles) or you can have a battle (Viper vs Corvette or Batman vs The Joker). Fun, right?! Now finally, there’s the XL series where the cars are much bigger. At a scale of 1:18, these are about the size of a football.

Right now the XL options are Spider-Man, Dodge Viper, and a Chevrolet Corvette. I was so excited to see the Spider-Man XL kit! Ryan loooves Spider-Man (thanks to his 6-year-old cousin!) and I knew he’d go crazy for this.

The recommended age is 5+ and I’d say that’s pretty accurate. My son is (almost) 3 and I got it for him anyway… he does love it and can absolutely play with it, but he does need our help getting some of the pieces put together. He just plays with it as a car, too, but loves it!

I’d like to collect more cars and kits as he gets older for the whole mix n’ match play. The cars (all sizes) also have a 4-mode adjustable chassis to move from “race” (normal) to “lifted” (up in the front) to “jacked” (up in the back) to “off-road” (up on both ends).

WANT IT?! These car kits range in price from $9.99 to $39.99 and can be found at Costco, CVS, Toys R Us, and Amazon.com.
