Brian and I are going to Port Douglas and the Daintree in a few weeks. Might get all the way up to Cape Trib….but now I don’t want to – forgot about the huge spiders in QLD. Yuuuuuuck!!

Haha, right?! I’m the biggest wuss ever when it comes to spiders. I was looking through my Australia photos trying to pick one to post yesterday and when I saw this one, I shivered, and just had to share!
If it makes you feel better, I only saw a couple of these big guys and they were always high up and I never saw them move lol. If this thing had been anywhere NEAR me, I probably would have had a heart attack. I think I hyperventilated just while taking this picture, haha.
Daintree was gorgeous, you’ll love it! Ohhh the trees are huge, you’ll get some great photos!

I am not even an arachnophobe but this guy creeps me out.. Probably one of the lost brothers of the spiders from the Forbidden Forest in Harry Potter. lol
