my laundry magic makers: Maytag’s Bravos XL washer and dryer

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Maytag. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating. All opinions and photos are my own!

Do you remember when we got our new Maytag Bravos XL washer and dryer? I had never been SO excited to do laundry (don’t worry, I’m back to normal now LOL), we quickly adjusted to a routine for our cloth diapers, and came to depend on the set for the needs of our family of 4.

Now it’s a whole new story: Ryan’s in SCHOOL! It doesn’t matter how many times I say that, I still don’t believe it (because he’s still my baby, right?). At the same time, he has stopped using diapers, yay for potty training! AND… Rebecca is well in the “NO, I DO IT” phase of feeding herself. All of that adds up to = A LOT OF LAUNDRY.

messI scrolled through the post before publishing and panicked by the spider on my wall. So I felt compelled to tell you: it’s fake 😉 Haha.

That photo was JUST taken. That’s my kitchen table right now. From our laundry today. Thank you for feeling my pain! It was folded and sorted while making dinner and waiting for it to bake. Now for the question… HOW do we manage to get through so much clothes? I’ll be honest, sometimes we don’t. Sometimes… I just can’t don’t want to.

And thankfully when we do, we have the Bravos XL washer and dryer from Maytag. These babies are huge. I remember not being able to empty our entire dirty laundry basket into our old washer… now MORE than that laundry basket fits in this Maytag Bravos XL washer.

Plus, with all the options we definitely get what we need. I also just took the photos above so notice two things… first… IT’S EMPTY! Thank you very much. I can sleep in peace tonight 😉 And second… it’s set on “bulky.” We use that setting a lot because we wash a lot and it’s great for the cloth diapers. I love love love the rapid wash for quick things that aren’t too worn and the “whites” setting works great, too. I’ve used the “delicate” setting too many times on dirty car seat covers, but am so thankful it’s there. The Maytag Bravos XL dryer is super useful too with it’s large capacity and moisture sensing system so clothes aren’t over dried.

Does the back-to-school season bring you lots of clothes and stains to deal with? Or do you have a potty training kid and a “I can feed myself” toddler like I do?! Haha. Do your washer and dryer help you get the job done?
