I’m thrilled to be kicking off the Tips for a Great Start with Team Kellogg’s today on Tip #1! We all want every day to be great, of course, and the best way to get there is by beginning the day on the right note! Tip #1 is all about keeping up your great start and recharging with snack packs.
Snacks definitely keep us moving when we’re on-the-go and if I ever leave the house without them it’s an immediate regret. You KNOW when you’re out without snacks, your child will suddenly become starving and throw a tantrum, right? And, shhh, maybe sometimes that happens to mommy, too 😉
Packing snacks doesn’t  have to be a chore. It’s a necessity with kids, so how many snacks do you think you can pack in 60 seconds?! Let’s make this fun! Check out this tip for getting it done:
So, did I beat the record of 12 snack packs in 60 seconds?!
Kellogg’s® believes that From Great Starts Come Great Things®. So we’re helping Moms start every day with a tip from the top athletes of Team Kellogg’s™ and Team USA dietitians. Isn’t it amazing what you can do in one minute?! Way to go 🙂 We love to make snack packs and have them ready to go in the pantry too. It’s a great tip!

We usually start the day off with a smoothie or homemade waffles french toast. If I’m in a jam I make oatmeal. Great overnighter in the slowcooker.

Oooo, I’ve never made oatmeal overnight in the slowcooker – that sounds good!

I have a 4 year old as well and snacks on the go are a must! She loves the strawberry shredded wheat (and so do I)!

It’s so nice to have ready made snacks, especially with kids. And now I’m wanting to try and see if I can beat your 13 snacks in 60 seconds. 😉

I really like the idea of making snack packs with Kellogg’s cereals!

I usually keep Cheerios in a baggy in my diaper bag but I’d like to try other cereals too. Thanks for sharing.

I like to mix things up – even if the kids decide one day they only want to eat one of the cereals in the snack pack, then at least they’re kept busy picking that one out from the rest 😉 haha

I love how you used cereals to create your own morning snack mix! Such a great idea!

My son would love to help me try to beat the record. He’s a snacker and I think he would love to have little snack packs in the pantry!

We have a drawer that’s just for Ryan. He can reach it so we fill it with snacks he can eat anytime when he’s hungry… snack packs like this!

Those are awesome snack pack ideas! I seriously can’t leave the house without having snacks on hand. It never fails, I walk out the door and the kids are hungry. I always have to have cereal snacks on hand at all times.

That’s so true that if kids are helping, they’re more interested in whatever the food may be. Great tips, and now I’m craving the snack mix!

Haha, I’ve been eating those baggies all week! 🙂

Great idea to pre-mix them all together! I like to make snacks that I’d eat as well, and that mix would be great for all of us! Thanks for the tip! 🙂
