Iced Coconut Mocha: Dunkin’ Donuts Mug Up!

Happy March! Where is the year going?! And WHAT is with all this SNOW. I’m ready for spring and I say screw winter, I’m busting out the t-shirts, sunglasses, and flip flops. And the new month means a new theme for the Dunkin’ Donuts Mug Up contest! You’ve been entering every month (and every day!), right?!

What’s a side of you we don’t see everyday? Are you artsy-fartsy? A die-hard music fan? Have a killer sense of style? Love those cuffed jeans, chucks, and aviators? Rock vintage tees or decorate in chic style? Whatever it is, let’s see it!

As a stay(work)-at-home-mom of two toddlers, you see me in yoga pants, a ponytail, and totally chugging the coffee. Right? But ME? The real ME? Loves to rock out to my music, loves the skinny jeans and t-shirts (and zip-up hoodies), the sunglasses, and the flip flops (if not simply bare feet). I can’t wait to lay in the grass for some much needed vitamin d.

So here I am in all my “hipster” glory… my 3rd concert tee from The Who, headphones on with music blasting, skinny jeans, peace sign necklace (owned for years and still lovin’ it), bare feet, enjoying my low-fat almond vanilla coffee, and waiting (IMPATIENTLY) for spring.

Snap a photo, share it on Instagram (with #DunkinMugUp), or upload HERE. Enter every day for more chances to win great prizes!

And because I’m in the mood for warm weather and sunshine, I whipped up a new drink to celebrate the coming new season. Have you seen the new spring-inspired flavors from Dunkin’ Donuts?! Peach cobbler, toasted almond, and coconut. MMMM. So, here’s my Iced Coconut Mocha:

It’s really simple to make and SO GOOD. I close my eyes and I’m at the beach 😉 Everything is to taste, so just throw in the amounts you want. I like adding coconut water instead of milk because 1) we always have it on hand and 2) it’s a little bit of a lighter & more refreshing taste. Throw in a little milk with the coconut water, too, if you want. Or leave it out completely! The Dunkin’ Donuts Coconut coffee tastes great alone, too.

Iced Coconut Mocha:

Dunkin’ Donuts Coconut coffee grounds
Brew it over ice
Add ~1 T sugar (to taste)
Add ~1 T chocolate syrup (to taste)
Add ~3 T coconut water (or coconut milk for a thicker taste)

Dunkin’ Donuts loves the hipster vibe. Take a picture of you and your mug in your old school kicks and vintage tees and upload here for a chance to win sweet prizes in the Mug Up Contest.
