Top 5 Prom Dresses

I remember my prom like it was yesterday! My boyfriend went to a different high school so I actually got to attend two proms. Afterwards we camped out in my backyard… yea, like we slept in tents on the ground with sleeping bags, haha. And that boyfriend? Is now my husband of almost 6 years 😉

Do you still own your prom dress? I do! Hmm, I wonder if it fits. It was a strapless, floor length black and white dress. Simple and classic, I loved it. When I was a little girl I remember playing dress up with all of my moms old bridesmaid and prom dresses so I saved a lot of mine, too. Now I have two kids that will love to play with them (IF I can manage to see them dirtied instead of hanging pretty in my closet, haha).

The prom season is coming up again so I headed to JenJenHouse to find my top pics… it’s fun to see what’s in style each year and how much has changed since I went to prom in 2003! I’ll be honest, I’m not a big fan of the dresses with cut out sides or lots of skin. Here are my top 5:

What’s your favorite style of fancy dress? I obviously go for the more classic looks with a little more simple design and color. But the great thing about picking out a prom dress is that it can be uniquely you! You’ll see all types of dresses and styles on the dance floor. So I say buy the one you feel most comfortable in, in your favorite color… and take a lot of pictures!
