Have you seen the Bentwood Collection from Summer Infant? It includes a beautiful dark-stained wood highchair, booster seat, and bassinet (which also comes in a light stain). They’re fashionable to fit right in your home and I love the sleek designs. We were recently sent the Bentwood Booster Seat to try out with Rebecca.
Summer Infant Bentwood Booster Seat
The Bentwood Booster Seat sits on one of your table chairs with two safety straps (one around the back of the chair and another around the bottom of the chair)—this thing isn’t moving! I had no problem getting it to fit or tightening the straps. You do need to assemble this booster seat out of the box, but it took me 10 minutes max.
The seat base and back are nicely curved for a comfy fit and there’s a removable, padded green cushion. With a three-point safety harness, you can be sure your child is safely secure, too. Rebecca is 2-years-old and loves to buckle herself in, haha, but thankfully she can’t unbuckle herself 😉
The back has a nice 3-position recline, you just pop the back up and tilt it to the desired position and then pop it back down into the base. You can see it reclines pretty far for babies! We use it at the most upright #1 position since our kids are older toddlers.
The dishwasher-safe tray also has 3 positions to adjust to your growing child. It easily slides on and off with two hands and has a little cup area. When we aren’t using the tray, I like using the space behind the booster seat back and our kitchen chair to store it. Sometimes we use the tray for Rebecca (usually at snack time) and sometimes we just push it right up to the table so she can enjoy really eating WITH us! At first I was worried it wouldn’t quite fit with enough space for her legs, but there is plenty!
We even have the lip under our kitchen table and her legs fit wonderfully underneath with the booster seat still being high enough for her to comfortable eat at the table with us, without the booster seat tray. It has been very useful!
You can buy it at Summer Infant’s website, Babies R Us, and Amazon for $49.99–great price for the versatility as a fashionable chair-top highchair and booster seat!

I love that you can store it easily and take it places if needed. Much better than a full sized high chair which you can’t easily tote around.
