Wait, what's my son's name?

When I was at the photographer’s studio placing our order, it was brought to my attention that my son apparently has a nickname. Ryan was starting to fuss so I was talking to him to help calm him. The lady came over and said, “Oh, that’s a cute nickname! Buddy or Bud!” And I was like.… what?????

Yep, I constantly call Ryan “Bud” or “Buddy” without realizing it. Hang on, Bud, we’re almost done. Whatcha

Congenital Heart Disease Awareness Week

February 7-14th is Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) Awareness Week. Why is it so important to me? CHD affected a great twitter friend of mine – we were pregnant together and she lost her healthy baby at 5 days of age due to undetected CHD, just a few weeks before Ryan was born. It really hit home for me.

What is CHD? Considered the most common birth defect worldwide, it is the leading cause of birth

No internet = no blogging

Since last Wednesday my blog admin page hasn’t been loading correctly and has prevented me from writing posts. Now the Internet at our apartment is completely out and our landlord hopes to have it fixed by the end of the week.

To Do List

I’ll admit, I’m a list maker. I add things I’ve already done just so I can cross them off. I bet hubby enjoys my lists too Anyway, with a baby on the way, possibly sooner than expected, I can’t get these things off my mind and the best thing to do in that situation is write them down!! The ones in bold are priorities…
