The Stork: at-home natural fertility treatment to aid in conception

This post about a natural fertility treatment was written in a partnership with The Stork and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own.

We’ve been very fortunate to not have fertility issues of our own and I can’t even begin to imagine what that is like. I have only seen friends go through it and have seen how heartbreaking it can be. We aren’t positive we’re done having kids and I want to share this new product with you because I think it’s a fantastic idea that I’d want to try myself if we

Baby Registry Tips: do you need all that stuff?

~Written in partnership with Walmart.com. All opinions are my own!

Creating a baby registry is sooooo much fun, but also soooo overwhelming. I remember walking into the store the first time with my husband to create our registry. Rows and rows of products, 5 (or 30!) different types of the same thing, what do we REALLY need and what can we do without? I had read about products but still felt unprepared! We asked for help, then we went home and changed the baby

What is Cord Blood Banking?

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for the Cord Blood Registry. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

I was aware of cord blood banking when I had my children, but it definitely wasn’t something talked about often and certainly not something my doctor ever brought up. It seemed “new” (4 years ago), expensive, and unknown. Today? I regret not banking their cord blood. I wish I had looked into it more and I wish there had been more information given to me.

How to REALLY know you’re pregnant

I don’t know if you guys remember the story of when I discovered I was pregnant with Rebecca, baby #2. We were going to start trying in the next month or two so she surprised us just a little bit early! I was late so I took a pregnancy test… just one of those cheapies that show two lines or a plus or something. Of course it was super light and I could not tell for the life of me if I was actually pregnant or not. It wasn’t like it was with

Preemie clothes fit for the NICU

Preemies are unexpected gifts and though they are a special kind of blessing, parents are often not prepared for their clothing needs. Sometimes the baby arrives before the shower and other times, parents-to-be may have been been very well prepared for a full term baby and now find themselves with nothing small enough to fit the newest addition to the family! Combine that with trying to find preemie clothes that are tube and wire friendly for the NICU, and you’ve got a tough job ahead

what will our baby girl look like?

Wow, I can’t believe I hadn’t done this already! I made one of these images for Ryan when I was like 2 months pregnant, lol. It just popped into my head yesterday so I finally found a website (morphthing.com), uploaded pictures of me and Steve, and waited 20 minutes for my “Morph Thing,” also known as our baby girl!

First, a trip down memory lane… here’s the image that was created for Ryan over two years ago. I did it before I even knew if we were having a boy or a
