Turtle Toffee Cheesecake recipe

What’s on your holiday dinner menu this year? We’re pretty traditional and don’t change it up too much year to year, but I like to try new variations. One year, instead of plain cranberries on the table, I made brie and sugared cranberry crackers. I’ve added chocolate to my pecan pie. I spiced up the “cheese and crackers” appetizer with spinach artichoke dip.

This season, I partnered with Save-A-Lot to try something new! My friend Tiffany shopped with the goal of keeping this UNDER $25—Save-A-Lot makes it easy, you could definitely shop there and

Moist & Mini Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins

It’s true, you know, what they say about fall…….. PUMPKIN-EVERYTHING. Pumpkin spice coffee, pumpkin crafts, pumpkin decor, pumpkin candles, pumpkin carving, pumpkin hats, pumpkins on the clothes, and—my favorite—chocolate chip pumpkin muffins!

I’ve made those pumpkin muffins with cream cheese filling and a streusel topping… now, those are delicious, too. But they take quite a bit of planning and prep. I’ve made chunky pumpkin spice cookies and those are yummy… but you just can’t go

5 ways to celebrate fall

It’s crazy how much I love fall because I’m totally a flip-flop-wearing, beach-loving, summer sunshine kinda girl. But it’s just so…. cozy! I love hoodies and fuzzy blankets, I love warm coffee cups and hot chocolate, I love soups and pumpkin EVERYTHING. So, as we head into October, here are 5 easy & fun tips to celebrate fall.

The only reason I have not yet fully decorated our home for fall is because the boxes of decor were put underneath lots of other heavy decor boxes (for other seasons and holidays!) and

Chunky Pumpkin Spice Cookies with cream cheese icing

When October hits, I’m one of those people that run out to get everything ready for fall, including pumpkin, pumpkin, and MORE PUMPKIN. I decorated for Halloween at the end of September. Pumpkin spice latte? Yes. Pumpkins on the front porch? Yes. Bowls full of fall-colored Hershey’s kisses, Reese’s pumpkins, caramel apple suckers, and Pumpkin Spice kisses?! YES. Hershey’s sent me a BOX full of candy and I was in HEAVEN.

Before the bowls of candy disappear (they are going quickly around here, haha), I decided to get creative and make something fun. You

easy coffee cake crumble… in a cup!

So awhile ago I saw something on Pinterest about a brownie in a cup. Say whhhhhat?! I mean, the idea is so totally simple, yet I never ever would have thought of it. Maybe because I will always prefer making an entire tray of brownies to eat instead of just one, haha. But for real, how cute is a brownie in a cup?! So much fun for your kids to make or to serve at a dinner party!

Oh and it’s made in the microwave. Yea, EASY.

So we all know I’m a coffee

chocolate chip peanut butter cup cookies

I found this recipe on Pinterest (where else), but it makes a massive amount of dough and had some random measurements (like using 1 cup + 2 T of sugar). Maybe it’s just me and the way I bake/cook, but I’m not that exact about anything lol. About a cup works for me! So here’s my take on it… like I said, this makes a LOT of dough (enough for 4-5 dozen cookies). Divide it in half and you’d be fine, unless you’re heading to a party.

Fuji Apple Pear Christmas cupcakes with #ClearAmerican

The first time I witnessed someone messing with a typical cake recipe was in college… my roommate made a cake with a can of diet coke. WHAT?! That can’t possibly be tasty… right? Wrong. It tasted great. It tasted like cake! I really couldn’t tell a difference. And the point? Well, there’s a few… it’s cheaper, it’s faster and easier to make, and it’s healthier. The pop was used as a substitute for oil and eggs.

I decided to make some Christmas cupcakes and instead of using pop, I went a step further with
