Planning a Pirate Party!

Ryan turned 4 at the end of December and we had his birthday party last weekend! He’s been obsessed with Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Peter Pan, and Tinkerbell (remember his Halloween Fairy Costume)? So, of course, we were planning a pirate party! You can check my Pirate Party Pinterest Board for more ideas, too. I’ll link to all the products at the end of the post so you can find what you need.

Awesome gift idea: sign my shirt!

~Product was provided by Sign My Shirt to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own!

When you get cards to celebrate a certain occasion, where do they end up? I guess I save SOME of them, but a lot of them definitely get recycled or I’d have cards everywhere. But we still always give cards for birthdays or a congrats, for a wedding or a retirement… why? because they’re thoughtful and send a personal message. But what if we had something that everyone could sign AND it created a memento for the recipient?

Pretty in Pink 1st birthday party

This post is SO ridiculously late, it’s embarrassing. Rebecca is 1 day shy of turning 15 months old and her 1st birthday party was three months ago. Basically, I took about 524302 photos and dreaded the task of 1) editing them and 2) trying to choose what photos to publish. AH! This will probably take me an hour to write because I still haven’t chosen… but at least I’ve edited! The cup is HALF FULL, people. On to Pretty in Pink…

DoubleTree by Hilton #DTourParty on Twitter 5/28!

Do you know where you’re going on your next vacation??? I LOVE to travel and if there’s one thing I’ll splurge money on, it’s that (and concert tickets lol). My husband and I set plans and travel when we can. I think next on our list for a “big” vacation is a trip to Disney for the kids in a few years! The husband and I just got home from a vacation sans kids (what a rarity!)–we were celebrating our 5 year anniversary.

Mmmm, kinda makes you want to jump in the car

One Fish, Two Fish: Dr. Seuss Theme Party

Dr. Seuss had a birthday on March 2nd! He was born in 1904 so he just turned 109! I’ve never been aware of his birthday before (#momfail), but this year I was it everywhere. And by everywhere, I mean pinterest. So… it was time for a Dr. Seuss theme party!

I recently joined our local MOMS Club because not only do my kids need to socialize with other kids their age, but I desperately need to socialize with other adults and get out of the house more often–winter sucks. And finding new mom friends

Ryan’s Dino-Mite Dinosaur Party!

My baby turned three at the end of December, just after Christmas. He wasn’t feeling well on his actual birthday–we just barely got him to blow out his candles and eat some cake, but he didn’t even want to open presents! The horror. His party was planned for that Saturday, but because of all the illness going around we postponed it to the following week, January 5th.

The theme? A Dino-Mite Dinosaur Celebration!!! Ryan-o-saurus is turning three!

I’ll tell ya, it’s tough having a party right after the holidays…

party time for the mamas with MAM

MAM is an Austrian company that started in 1976 when they sold their first pacifier. Now they sell over 40 million baby products every year! Pacifiers, bottles, sippy cups, toothbrushes, and teethers… MAM products help with child development across many stages.

Recently, I was fortunate enough to receive a massive package from MAM to host my very own party! And when I say massive, I mean HUGE. I think the box was bigger than me, I was so excited to open it! It was filled with products
