Do you have a certain song you like to sing to each of your kids? Rebecca loves when I sing and instantly calms down… Ryan used to like my singing, but most of the time he now tells me to stop LOL–unless of course he’s tired, then it helps him fall asleep π I love singing to my babies.
Ryan’s song has always been “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.” He even has a sign above his bed that says it. Rebecca’s song is “You Are My Sunshine.” But

One of the first things we got to decorate Ryan’s nursery was a piggy bank… kinda one of those classic items, right? His grandma (my mom) got it for him and it’s super special. He gets really excited to collect coins once in awhile and add them to his bank!
Rebecca is now 7 months old and was yet to have her own piggy bank! AH! Second child and all π Anyway, it was collecting dust on my “things to buy” list. Then I discovered Child to Cherish (sweet name, right?)

I remember playing at game at one of my bridal showers that asked questions about Steve and our relationship. One of them was something about what drives me nuts or a bad habit of his… my answer? His underwear! Socks, too, but those aren’t as gross. Seriously most of his underwear have holes and are just worn and ratty looking. I’ve come to find out it’s not just MY husband, but many guys in general. What gives?!
In the past few weeks, I’ve been randomly finding old pairs of Steve’s underwear in the garbage.

We’re music fanatics in this house. Even Ryan knows exactly how to work our iPods and iPhones to play specific songs or playlists. His favorite? Usually Raffi, but lately he’s been playing…. wait for it…. Gangnam Style. Yes, I’m serious. Mama is about to go buy some ear plugs.
And Ryan’s newest favorite tech toy? The Sound Step Recharge by Soundfreaq. Okay, I realize that bluetooth technology has been around for awhile, but I’ve never gotten into using

I looove baby wearing and since having Rebecca, I love it even more. I have no idea how I’d get anything done or go out in public to run errands with my two children without baby wearing. I mean, Rebecca isn’t old enough to walk yet and she isn’t great at sitting yet (like in a shopping cart). And I must have my hands free for those times when my toddler decides to run off or go crazy, haha.
Ryan loved to be worn and he was content facing in. Rebecca, however, is a

We’re a co-sleeping family. I don’t remember exactly when we moved Ryan out of our bed, but he was definitely over a year and it was because he just started moving (and kicking) too much that I felt neither of us were getting quality sleep. We remedied the fact that he would NOT sleep through the night in his crib by moving his crib into our room, at the foot of our bed. When he woke up, he could see us and we could talk to him–but we didn’t have to get out of

Last year, I reviewed the totally awesome FC 3.0 Child Carrier from Kelty. I’m a big fan of being outside and love doing outdoorsy things like camping with my family! So Kelty is one of my favorites… they have all kinds of tents, sleeping bags, chairs, and camping accessories. Recently I received their double jogging stroller–the Speedster Swivel-Deuce! Rebecca is big enough now to sit in the stroller seat and omgosh – her and Ryan LOVE sitting next to each other, it’s the cutest thing ever. I love
