My sister-in-law and her husband just had a baby girl in early November. They were home visiting over the holidays and Ryan got a lot of practice! He was so interested in her – every time she cried or made a noise he had to run over and watch, he loved holding her and feeding her a bottle and just sitting near her… it was adorable.

January 2011 started out with a bang! We had Ryan’s 1st birthday party, which was an awesome monster-themed party. My baby boy was getting so big! I started working on my VBAC to-do list because Steve and I decided we wanted to start trying to conceive over the summer. Then in February, my husband lost his job, but we found the positives of it and enjoyed the family time. Keep Reading 2011: a year of Baby Dickey in review Ryan turned two on Tuesday the 27th, ahhh! Steve had the day off work since Christmas Eve and Christmas landed on the weekend this year so that was really awesome. Steve made one of Ryan’s favorites for breakfast – biscuits and gravy – and then we headed up to Rockford to visit the Discovery Center (the children’s museum). That picture seems like yesterday and so do all of my memories of our first two years together. It has flown by… please, please, please don’t get any bigger! You are quite the chatterbox now!
