We have these awesome new silicone molds from HABA and I couldn’t wait to try them out with the kids! They’re bright with fun shapes and they make the perfect project on a nice spring day 🙂 Cupcakes, cakes, fancy ice cubes, and popsicles! There are so many creative ways to use all of these; where to start?! In celebration of the warmer weather (okayyyy, of course I say that and it SNOWED here today in mid-May), but anyway, we made fruity & frozen yogurt homemade popsicles and colorful ice cubes!

Hope everyone had a fun and relaxing 4th of July! We usually spend it at the lakehouse, but this year we got the itch for home improvement… and we stayed home all weekend to clean, organize, and paint! Ah, the things that excite you when you get “old,” haha.
We spent the 4th of July at a friend’s pool for a cookout. Ryan and Rebecca made their own festive shirts and were in bed long before the fireworks 😉 The picture above is the best I could get of the two of them

I hate winter. I hate the cold and being stuck inside… and all season I just DREAM of warm weather. It’s funny how that works because now that summer is here, I’m wishing it would cool down, haha. We’re still stuck inside some days because it’s just so hot and humid out! We live in a two-story and we do have central air, but our second story doesn’t seem to cool down enough.
