*1?! week to go! take the poll below!*

^coolest picture ever. (from the visual md)

Same old stuff, different day. Not much exciting going on at this point, she’s just gaining more weight and getting more cramped. She’s probably somewhere around 7 pounds and about 20 inches long. A mini watermelon. I’m walking around with a watermelon.

Did you know that late-term ultrasounds are notoriously terrible at guessing the size of your baby? They can be off by ~2 pounds in either direction…. so if your doc

Doctor Appointment: last one?

I went to the doctor this morning… I’m one day away from my due date!

Weight: 148. I now weigh more than Steve’s little (20yr old) brother, haha. Total weight gain of 32 pounds.

Blood pressure: 110/62

Fundal height: 35—he’s moving down, she said

Baby’s heart rate: I have no idea what she said. She heard it mid-belly and was worried that meant he was breech (same thing happened last week). I was too focused on that and the fact that she said if he IS breech, I’d be having a c-section tomorrow.

Day: Saturday, December 19th

**(Please talk to your doctor/midwife before attempting any of these)**

*Sex: Semen has natural prostaglandins, which help ripen the cervix. Try lying down after sex to allow the prostaglandins to remain against the cervix. Plus, the hormone oxytocin is released during orgasm and

Pregnancy Week 39

My posts come out all clumped together because wordpress never works from our apartment internet. So when I head out, I get as many written as I can!

ONE week to go!!! Maybe less… maybe more… A few days ago I was thinking I’d go past my due date, but as of yesterday, I’m thinking I’ll go before. I’m just feeling lots of low pressure and pain in my lower back (tail bone low). Our little scare last night got us moving. It got me REALLY mentally prepared and this morning Steve woke up
