My mom has entered a contest to win a Norwegian bunad, which is a traditional costume of Norway… she’s 100% Norwegian and would love to win this for a future granddaughter 😉 Just look how adorable! It would really mean a lot to her (and my future daughter, ha) as we’re proud of our heritage and it’s also something for my Norwegian Grandpa who passed away right before Ryan was born.
Sooo… take a minute and go here: My Little Norway and in the comments section, say you’re voting for story #5! It’s a cute little story about me when I was a little girl 🙂 The contest ends Wed. (norwegian time… which is like Tuesday evening here I think…something like that..) THANK YOU! You guys are wonderful 🙂 🙂 🙂
I just voted for you – I wish I had known about the contest – I would have given you a run for your money! My mom is Norwegian (she came here as a foreign exchange student and met & married my dad a few years later) and I know she would love to see my daughter dressed up in a bunad! Many of my childhood summers were spent in Norway – wonderful memories! I hope she wins 🙂
