Seriously, it happened overnight. He went from rocking on his knees to CRUISING. We are SO not ready for this! I thought they eased into it more? Okay, the rocking should have been a clear sign, but… we are SO not ready for this! He’s a mover. And he seems to know exactly what he’s not supposed to have or where he’s not supposed to go. Umm, baby cage, anyone? So help me out, what are the must-have baby proofing products? What do we really need and what are your favorites???
This first video is pretty much him looking cute, refusing to crawl for the camera, haha.
This one has some more crawling action… followed by pure monster action:
i love it! thanks for emailing this – was the perfect way to make me smile on my lunch break this monday 🙂

Cabinet locks! We have managed to get by without them, but it made SO much extra work for me. My E loves to try to get in the cabinets just because he knows he’s not allowed to be in them. I spend so much time telling him “No.” and moving him away. I wish we would have just gotten the locks!
If you have stairs a gate on each end of the steps.
Cord keepers and outlet covers.
Those DVDs in the second video are definitely in trouble. 🙂 lol! My E ruined a few cases and was working at the disks before I discovered that he found ours.
Any little things he might choke on… get them up high. Honestly, I think I followed E around for a day and whatever he found that wasn’t safe I moved. Usually, I got it out of his reach right away (our poor dining room table became the storage area) and then found new homes for everything over time.
Good luck! This is a fun and challenging time! It’s so fun to watch them learn how to move and scary all at the same time.
