Like mama, like son

Ryan is my little mini-me and I love it. I mean, what do you expect? He spends all day, every day with his mama! And he picks up on things…

One day, Ryan disappeared and the house was silent. You know that’s never a good sign. I was in the bedroom when I hear, “mom! moooom. mom. MOM!” So I head to the bathroom and this is what I find. That morning I noticed he was carefully watching me as I put on eyeliner. The first chance he got, he snuck off to the bathroom to try it out himself, haha. He was so proud!

Finally, Ryan loves to brush his teeth! Whatever mama does, Ryan does! So one day while we’re both brushing, I look over and see Ryan standing there with one hand on his hip. I look down and realize I’m standing the exact same way… he was copying me and it was totally adorable. He has done this many times since, lol. He also enjoys my chap-stick and (all-natural) deodorant!

SHOES! It just so happens to be the same pair in the 2 pictures above, but any shoes will do. Ryan looooves to wear my shoes. Heels, flip flops, boots, slippers… anything.

I adore my mini-me <3 🙂

What do your children do just like you?

This is so adorable! I remember when my adult daughter was my mini me. When you realize this everything they do becomes double adorable! I remember once when I was speaking to my daughter for being naughty and my sister burst out laughing. I thought it was really not an appropriate time for her to laugh until she explained to me that we each were in the same stance saying the same thing to one another!! It was funny and that day I found out just how much she was my mini me!!

What a character…and what a BIG BOY! It amazes me every time I see him what he has learned…day to day…week to week. Brilliance, I say!

How cute! My little one has started sitting at the computer and type. Yesterday, she pulled all the cloth diapers off the drying rack and hung them back up. I think that is impressive for a 14 month old! They are always watching and learning!

That is so cute. I remember my son once used an entire can of whipped cream on his face so he could shave like daddy, lol!

awww, cute! I’m waiting for that day to come, but I don’t think Ryan gets to watch Steve getting ready in the morning often enough!

Good reminder that I need to start curbing my undesirable habits before baby arrives!

  • This is a lot like my little boy! Sebastian is 14 months now and OBSESSED with brushing his teeth – In fact, he sometimes wails while I brush mine because his tooth brush isn’t good enough, he wants MY toothbrush. He also likes to stand in my shoes, and also brings me different shoes from my closet and gets excited when I try them on for him. Mama’s boy toddlers are so sweet!

Haha, awww, so cute!! Ryan now reminds me of things I need before we leave the house. If my shoes aren’t on yet? “Boots!” and that’s followed by “purse!” lol.

  • Ha! I love this! After 2 daughters, I have awesome pics of my son carrying a few of their purses, rocking some heels, & wanting to play dress up 🙂
