Candles for the holidays

I love candles anytime of year. They add color and decor to any room, they’re cozy and comforting when lit, they’re relaxing to see and smell… in fact, I distinctly remember just staring at a lit candle during my homebirth. It gave me something to focus on and was very calming. You know how you could just sit and stare at a campfire all night? Yea, it was kinda like that.

We have candles all over the place, but I tend to especially light them and set up winter candles during the holidays.

Fun red tealight candle holders on the kitchen table:

And some tall candles to add elegance to the dining room table for holiday dinners:

I like scented ones too, especially anything like cinnamon, spice, or pine during the winter! Crafted Candles is a great place to find all types of candles, like those shown here and so many more. They’ve got every holiday covered–their Christmas candles are clearly my favorites! They also have some nice accessories like candle holders and dishtowels.
