Lamaze is a common name in our house–we have a great number of their toys and they’re a name I trust and always return to. Having a baby or going to a baby shower? Definitely check out Lamaze for gifts. For this gift guide, I picked out a few different products to review. A super versatile toy, a fun musical animal, and a classic soft book…
I LOVE the Activity Spiral ($19.99). I actually saw this somewhere and knew I had to have it. Why? Because I love that it can go pretty much anywhere and without any buckles or clasps or velcro. It’s simply a spiral… loop it around the crib, car seat, stroller, pack n’ play… anything! Or just give it to your baby to play with. It’s bright and stimulating and it crackles and jingles. It’s for ages birth and up… Rebecca is now 8 months old and still loves to reach for it and play with it!
Now… Turtle Tunes ($29.99). I thought this would be cute, but I had no idea it’d be one of my favorites! I think I really like it because the sounds are so easy to activate… and because of that, I just HAD to take a video to show you. It’s for birth to 24 months… my 8 month old can swat at it and make sounds play or just cuddle the stuffed animal… but my son (who is almost 3) plays with it, too! Because he can make songs with me.
And finally, Mittens the Kitten cloth book ($15.99). These cloth books are just something babies have to have! Rebecca would otherwise tear (and EAT) pages out of a paper book and even those board books aren’t great because Rebecca picks them up and flings them around. I love these soft books that she can eat all she wants, haha. We have two cats so I picked this adorable one, but Lamaze has lots of choices! And even matching plush toys for some.
