Nothing gets us going like Quaker oats

Rule #23984 for being a Mom: never leave the house without SNACKS! In almost any case food can dissolve a potentially bad situation, a meltdown, or at least hold over your kids while you run just one more errand. Hunger makes kids crazy, plain and simple, and is one of the main causes of tantrum-throwing. Don’t.leave.without.snacks.

Sometimes you also just need a quick re-fuel during the day; a snack to keep you moving. I wish I had the activity levels of my children that turn ON the moment they eagerly pop out of bed… I need energy to keep up with them! Now that the weather is finally nicer, we’re attempting daily walks and if I’m super ambitious I might even get a run in there. How do you stay fueled for your weekly activities?

It’s nice to have snacks that are quick to grab on the go, but they also have to be ones my kids will eat! Picky little stinkers. I’m happy to say the whole family likes the new Quaker® Big Chewy Granola Bars. They’re 60% larger than the regular Chewy granola bars and they’re the perfect size! Just one fills me up and my kids usually just share one. My husband likes to grab these for a snack at work to help him get through the day.

Mmmm, looks good, right? They’re also full of chocolate deliciousness with 30% more chocolate chips than the regular bars and they have a chocolate drizzle on top. It feels like I’m eating a dessert, but the whole grains fill me up and one bar is just 180 calories. They’re easy to throw in my diaper bag and easy for my kids too eat–the bars aren’t too hard or too soft (they don’t fall apart all over the place).

Ready for your day filled with adventure and activity? Are you chasing around two little ones? Quaker Up™!

I never know what my days will have in store for me and my family, so keeping Quaker® Big Chewy Granola Bars on hand help make sure we have the fuel necessary to get the day. Now the Quaker® Big Chewy Granola Bars have chocolate drizzled on top and are 60% bigger – perfect for my hungry family!
