Karmin Professional Titanium Flat Iron

I have really thin and fine hair (thanks, mom!) and I’ve never been good at styling it. Especially since having kids! I mean, it usually goes in a pony tail unless I have time to dry it and then the problem becomes that if I dry it, I need to straighten it.

I remember when straighteners even became “a thing” and of course I never got one because… I wasn’t a girly girl and when did I ever style my hair?! But then I realized… that’s not what it’s about at all. I tried a friend’s and I fell in love. My thin and fine hair that flies away in the winter and looks frizzy and full of static was suddenly silky smooth and shiny! Now it’s a MUST if I’m going out and wearing my hair down.

I was recently sent the Karmin Professional Titanium Flat Iron and have been able to test it out the past couple of weeks… you know, when the kids let me 😉 First, it’s PINK. Okay, it comes in black, too, but why wouldn’t you get PINK?! It’s fun, I loved it as soon as I saw it, so I was really hoping I would love the way it works, too!

The titanium plate surfaces are super smooth. I’d get my hair stuck in my old straightener and it always felt like it was pulling my hair. This one seriously glides so easily I have to look at make sure it actually DID something (and yes, it did). It uses negative ions and infrared heat to help remove static for that silky shiny hair I love to have! The Karmin Titamium also seals in natural oils, locks in moisture, has floating plates (to straighten, flip, or curl hair), automatically shuts off after an hour, and has variable temperature settings for all hair types (176 to 460 degrees F).

So I put it to the test! I showered and used a blow dryer to dry my hair… what I get is the photo on the left. It’s a little wavy, a little flyaway, and a little frizzy. This is what I usually put in a pony tail if I don’t have time to straighten it. On the right is what I got after using the Karmin Titanium. Such a difference, right?! It takes away the static and I can style it a bit to the shape I want.

Why Titanium? It’s durable even under high heat and it heats evenly. It’s also light weight and scratch resistant. Karmin combines the traditional ceramic iron with negative ions infrared heat to straightener while protecting–making hair shinier and silkier while sealing in moisture for healthier hair. You should read more about it all and why Karmin uses what they do on their Karmin Titanium page (scroll down a little).

Hair straightened and I’m ready to go out for the night! Get your own (PINK!) Karmin Titanium Flat Iron for $149.95… not bad for a product that I use multiple times a week and is durable enough to last me years! You can also find Karmin on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
