Last week we were in Cozumel for a family vacation. It was our first time there and was wonderful! Yes, you can take the kids to an all-inclusive resort in Mexico 😉 They had awesome things for kids and the beach was perfect for them. Each year, when I’m planning my holidays, I think about visiting the Caribbean. There are over 700 islands in the Caribbean, so it’s quite important to decide where you’re going before you get there. All the islands feature the same beautiful weather and sandy beaches, but each island has a unique quality all its own. The islands of the Bahamas are probably the most popular tourist destination, mostly because of the white beaches and crystal clear water. The islands also offer everything else, like gambling, shopping and fine dining. This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. I remember visiting the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry all the time as a kid… it was like the go-to field trip in school and I’m not even sure how many years my classes hopped on a bus for a day exploring. I haven’t been in YEARS… and it’s on our summer to-do list this year now that we have kids of our own! We want them to explore, be My brother lives in CO and I love going to visit because it’s beautiful there and there’s always so much to do! With a gorgeous backyard like CO, there’s always somewhere to hike, sights to see, wildlife, and tourist activities. My brother lives in Fort Collins and sometimes we like to explore nearby areas. A favorite is Estes Park and, of course, the Rocky Mountain National Park! Rocky Mountain National Park attracts visitors from all over the world and it is right here in our own back yard. Come for a day, the I grew up in Rockford and that means I grew up swimming at Magic Waters. I loved it as a kid and spent many summers there with season passes. It’s crazy that now I have my own children that get to experience the same waterpark! Much of it is the same, but a lot has been updated and there have been a LOT of new slides and attractions added since I was a kid. Magic Waters is one of the largest water parks in Illinois! It’s located just off I-90 Do you know where you’re going on your next vacation??? I LOVE to travel and if there’s one thing I’ll splurge money on, it’s that (and concert tickets lol). My husband and I set plans and travel when we can. I think next on our list for a “big” vacation is a trip to Disney for the kids in a few years! The husband and I just got home from a vacation sans kids (what a rarity!)–we were celebrating our 5 year anniversary. Mmmm, kinda makes you want to jump in the car |
