~This post is written on behalf of the Residence Inn Vegas hotel. I stayed there for 3 nights in October 2013 and all opinions are my own! I’m pretty sure everyone has the same thoughts when they hear about VEGAS. I mean, it’s the city of sin. It’s great for parties, a trip with the girls (or guys), and weekend getaways. They don’t say “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” for nothing, right?! But imagine if Vegas could be a family trip… a place to take the kids. Why not? There’s SO much Last week I was in VEGAS, BABY. My first time ever in the city of sin….. and I never even made it to the strip. The closest I got to “Vegas” were the slot machines in the airport, haha. Why? I spent all week at the convention center for the ABC Kids Expo 2013. It’s THE trade show for all things related to pregnancy, moms, babies, and children. This was my second year and I had a great time–putting faces with names, meeting people I’ve worked with, seeing old friends, and discovering This is my first post about the ABC Kids Expo I attended in Kentucky two weeks ago. There was SO MUCH to see, it was a little overwhelming. There were the brands and people I’ve worked with before that I wanted to meet, finally, face-to-face. There were the products I use and I wanted to meet the brands and tell them how much I love them. There were the new brands I’ve never heard of and the products I’ve never seen that I wanted to learn about. Miles of booths! I naively I’ve been so busy lately… not only getting our house on the market, cleaning for showings (GAH!), and shopping for a new home, but also attempting to stay caught up on blog/writing work, getting ready for ABC, and launching a new website. Oh, and raising the two little ones. 😉 Well…. after 4 days on the market we had our first showing… a week later they put in an offer… we negotiated… we accepted. Contracts SIGNED. Closing date Nov. 26th. And wouldn’t ya know that yesterday we walked into the house we want to |
