We’ve always been good about recycling as much as we can, limiting waste, and reusing when possible. I mean, we both have environmental related degrees (his in engineering, mine in the sciences) so what can you expect?! There are all kinds of tips and tricks out there to teach your kids about recycling, but I think learning by doing is the best way! Kids will grow up doing what they know. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with LOTS to be thankful for! Right now I’m thankful for a long holiday weekend to get ready for the NEXT festive celebration! 😉 It’s cold and snowy outside, so I gathered the kids to help me make some fun holiday table decorations and place card flowers. I’m always looking for new things to do with them! Educational Fun: learning about insects and making ladybug rocks! We have landscaping full of rocks so we’re always using them for our crafting! Ryan loves arts and craft time and he especially loves to paint… but he hates to get I love the holiday season and getting the house all decorated and festive. I love the magic of Santa and counting down to Christmas with Ryan. I love hanging the stockings and filling them with goodies. I love reading The Night Before Christmas and leaving out homemade cookies and milk. I love creating memories with the family.
