How do you recharge for the day ahead?

Before I go to bed at night I have to have a plan of attack for the next day. I have NEVER been a morning person and having children was quite the awakening 😉 We’re up between 6-7am and they don’t know what a weekend is. And I don’t know how they do it, but they are UP and RUNNING as soon as their feet hit the floor. “Mom, I’m hungry! Let’s play a game! Mom, you forgot my drink! I need a napkin! How to Cure Cabin Fever with Kids

AHHHHHH!Did ya hear that all the way from my house in IL? I wouldn’t be surprised… it’s my frustration with THIS WINTER. I hate the cold anyway, but this winter has been especially brutal. Days when the city basically goes on lock-down and you aren’t supposed to leave the house. Days when Ryan’s preschool is cancelled (again… and again). Days when it snows so much, we can’t get out of our driveway.

Workouts to do with your kids!

One of my goals for 2014 is to lose about 5 to 10 pounds. After 2 babies, I’m still about that far away from my pre-pregnancy weight and our youngest turns TWO next month! I think I’ve held onto the baby weight long enough. Time to say goodbye!

We have a gym membership and I need to start going more often (with help from these motivational quotes!) I also want to improve our meal planning. When meals are planned each week, I snack less. I also plan healthier meals
