I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation. Last month I wrote about my ambassadorship with Discover Boating and all the fun ways our family loves to spend time on the water. Have you had a chance to explore the water this summer? A couple of weeks ago I had an afternoon sail on a yacht with some of my girlfriends. We had lunch and enjoyed the sunshine and I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Discover Boating. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation. I am really excited to announce that I am an ambassador for Discover Boating this summer! I love being on the water and have since I was a little girl. My husband grew up with a lakehouse in WI so he’s a fish out of water, too! Now that we have kids of our own, we’re thrilled to share the fun with them and have them discover boating… Can you believe it’s spring?! This winter has been pretty brutal and we still have some snow on the ground here (we hadn’t seen the grass since late November until now!) with freezing temps. I always hate the cold weather anyway, but I’m sooo over this season. I’ve already pulled out the flip flops and t-shirts and packed away the sweaters. Spring means hoodies, robins in the trees, iced coffee, walks outside with the kids, days at the park, and flowers. We can’t have spring without the flowers! In the fall I wrote about Ryan loves being outside and anything with wheels… his mower, wheelbarrow, ride-ons, and bikes. The kid just takes off! He learned how to pedal last summer and was a pro on his trike. This summer, he’s working on a balance bike and loves his scooter. He has fallen off his bike once and wasn’t hurt, but did get scared. I’m thankful we haven’t had any bad spills yet, but I’m sure something is coming… knock on wood… it’s a right of passage for a kid, right? I remember falling off my bike on the |
