My baby is ONE?! But I just had him! I tell ya, that cliche “time flies” doesn’t change by the 3rd kid. In fact, time flies even faster. What a blur. In true Norwegian fashion, we went with a themed Viking party for the little man. It was a lot of fun to put together! How cute is this cake?! Jacob’s little smash cake is sitting on top and looks just like a Viking helmet. I know, I know, REAL Vikings didn’t actually have horns on their helmets, but… it’s cute that way. I guess I save SOME of them, but a lot of them definitely get recycled or I’d have cards everywhere. But we still always give cards for birthdays or a congrats, for a wedding or a retirement… why? because they’re thoughtful and send a personal message. But what if we had something that everyone could sign AND it created a memento for the recipient? This post is SO ridiculously late, it’s embarrassing. Rebecca is 1 day shy of turning 15 months old and her 1st birthday party was three months ago. Basically, I took about 524302 photos and dreaded the task of 1) editing them and 2) trying to choose what photos to publish. AH! This will probably take me an hour to write because I still haven’t chosen… but at least I’ve edited! The cup is HALF FULL, people. I LOVE to travel and if there’s one thing I’ll splurge money on, it’s that (and concert tickets lol). My husband and I set plans and travel when we can. I think next on our list for a “big” vacation is a trip to Disney for the kids in a few years! The husband and I just got home from a vacation sans kids (what a rarity!)–we were celebrating our 5 year anniversary. Mmmm, kinda makes you want to jump in the car Dr. Seuss had a birthday on March 2nd! He was born in 1904 so he just turned 109! I’ve never been aware of his birthday before (#momfail), but this year I was it everywhere. And by everywhere, I mean pinterest. So… it was time for a Dr. Seuss theme party! I recently joined our local MOMS Club because not only do my kids need to socialize with other kids their age, but I desperately need to socialize with other adults and get out of the house more often–winter sucks.
