I filled this out last January and it’s crazy to see how my responses have changed–or how some have stayed just the same! What did you do in 2010 that you’d never done before? Raised a baby into a little boy! Also started teaching my own classes. 2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I’m pretty sure I didn’t make any… Ryan was 5 days old and I was glued to the glider for quite some time, not thinking about anything but breastfeeding! At our home in Iowa How far along were you? 5 weeks What was your reaction? I cried immediately–shocked, but not… Who was the first person you told? Steve! How did you tell the father? You probably remember our experience with our hospital birthing class… if not, check here: Hospital birthing class #2. In general, it was pointless. Maybe we did too much reading on our own, but we really didn’t learn anything… and relaxation/breathing techniques that WOULD have been helpful? We didn’t do them. Anyway… I was recently emailed a post from Wiser Pregnancy called Birthing Class Doesn’t Impact Epidural Use and thought I’d share it with you seeing as how I got a great response on the issue of birthing classes.
