Moby Wrap babywearing review & discount

Introducing… the Moby Wrap – award winning baby carriers! I was recently sent the original Moby Wrap (in Moss color) to try out on Ryan and we loved it! Here’s why:

  • It uses your whole back and shoulders with no straps, so it’s comfy (for both of us)!
  • It’s safe. It comes with an awesome instruction book with colored pictures that make using it really simple.
  • Closeness. Great for skin-to-skin and for connecting with your baby.
  • Secure. This fabric can hold up to 45 pounds!
  • Versatility. There are SO many ways you can wrap this fabric for different ways to wear your baby, including on your back.
  • Machine washable!

Something I really liked about this particular brand of wrap is how long it is (5.5 meters). It makes it really easy to work with and can be worn by basically anyone–me or my husband! And being that Ryan prefers to be carried right now by his dad, that’s great for us!!

It comes in lots of great colors and patterns too–solids, seasonals, prints, designs, UV protection (how cool is that?!), batiks, and organics! Here’s Ryan lovin’ his Moss Wrap:

Okkk, so maybe I overdid it with the pictures, but Ryan just looked so cute in there! And he was so happy! He was smiling away and staring at a light on the ceiling (yea, in that 2nd picture it looks like he’s looking sweetly back at me… nope! haha)

Head over to Moby Wrap and check out all their cute designs and you can get your own! Use our special coupon code babymoby for 15% off your entire order, expires February 20th!

  • Hi, you look really good wearing Ryan and he looks so cute! I’m new to babywearing and during my research on carriers, I’ve come across some things with the Moby wrap that I want you to be aware of. Even though they say it’s safe to wear with bigger babies and on the back, a larger baby can push his way out of the stretchy fabric and fall. This has actually happened to mothers, so please be very careful! It seems to be a great wrap for smaller babies in the front though.

  • Thanks for sharing that Rene! I definitely agree. The Moby website actually says that while the fabric can hold 45 pounds, you may only feel comfortable to 35 pounds. As with any wrap/carrier, do what’s comfortable and be safe! Thanks!
