Let me just say I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy to be back home, near all our friends and family. It has helped so much, there’s so much more to do, and we get to spend more time with the people we love.
My girlfriends and I (a few that I have known since elementary school) have created a monthly wine & craft night. There are 6 of us and 4 of us have kids… ideally we get to leave the kids behind and we meet up to gossip chat, chug sip some wine, and make disastrous amazing pinterest-inspired crafts. Recently we made letter wreaths (tutorial coming soon) and next month we’re making Valentine’s cookies and some sort of craft yet to be decided.
From getting crafty with Ryan I have some craft items… a bin full of random ribbons, different types of glues, some paint, and my treasured Mod Podge (the stuff is magic). But I need more if I’m going to get Pinterest crafty!
Enter: Consumer Crafts. They’re having a Back to Basics sale right now with up to 25% off! This ends Feb 4th so make sure you head over and check it out… honestly, I was loving their amazing prices in the first place and then I got an extra 15% off my ~$50 purchase and added some more stuff 😉 Plus, orders over $100 ship free.
I asked on my Facebook page what are must-have craft basics if I just want to get a stash started. I went through the entire Consumer Crafts site and just kept adding stuff to my cart to sort through later (you can also select products as “favorites” to view later if you create an account). Most of the items I picked were from the Craft Basics category.
I added a bunch of things and then went back through and made a final decision… here are a lot of the items I considered:
I wanted the embroidery hoops to make a project with fabric for wall art in Rebecca’s room… but I decided not to get those, along with the rotary cutters and crackle paint. I’m super excited about finally having my own pair of nice craft scissors and for the 2-inch circle punch!! I always have cupcake toppers for my kids’ birthday parties and I’ve always printed and cut them out by hand…. annoying! With Rebecca’s party coming up in a month, this thing is going to save me. So is this awesome cupcake stand I decided to get:
This smaller one was actually sold out so I spent a little bit more and got the stand that holds 24 cupcakes. It will be perfect! Below you can see a screenshot of my shopping cart… there’s a great feature on the left to add products to your list of favorites if you want to save it for a later purchase. Then you can see the discount I got on each item from this Back to Basics sale!
Before ordering I did add a couple of bottles of acrylic paint to this list, too. You can never have too many paint colors! Overall, this site was really easy to navigate and I found a ton of things I wanted at great prices–better than my local craft store. I’ll definitely be shopping here again and told my girlfriends to check it out so they can get their own supplies for our wine & craft nights!
Find Consumer Crafts on facebook and pinterest and enjoy the sale! 🙂
I wrote this post as part of a campaign with Blueprint Social. The opinions in this post are my own.

A wine & craft night sounds amazing!! Love this idea. We craft so much at our house. I’m going to check out the site. Since we live in the middle of nowhere I’ve been looking for a reliable source to order from online. I think I may have found it!!

What a fun ladies night. I could use a wins & craft night. We have a group of us that get together about every other month to do our scrapbooks. We need to add Cosme wine to our nights

A few of my girlfriends and I started a similar group when we were off on mat leave this year. So fun! It’s very dangerous that I now know about this website! Thanks for sharing:)
